1/3 c Sifted all-purpose flour 3 lg Garlic cloves
4 ts Sugar - peeled and minced
1/4 ts Salt 2 ts Oriental sesame oil
1/4 ts Pepper
Kim Chi
2 Heads Chinese cabbage 1 Piece fresh gingerroot (1")
-OR- white cabbage 1 Celery stalk
1 c Salt 1 Hard, semi-ripe pear
1 lb Daiko
Kimchi (Korean Cabbage Relish)
1 Head Chinese cabbage 3 Garlic clove; minced
- cut into 1/2-in. strips - (or less, if desired)
3 tb Salt 1/2 ts Crushed dried hot red chile
Korean Bean Thread Sesame Noodles with Vegetables
1 oz Chinese dried mushrooms 1 Green pepper
1/2 oz Chinese dried cloud ears 1 sm Onion
1/4 lb Bean thread noodles 2 tb Peanut oil
2 oz Carrot 1/2
Korean Dipping Sauce
4 tb Soy sauce 1 ts Sesame oil
4 ts Rice vinegar
Mix all ingredients. Serve with sauteed bean curd.
